Όπως σημειώνεται σε σχετική ανακοίνωση της οργάνωσης «Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού», η εκδίκαση της συγκεκριμένης υπόθεσης αναβλήθηκε επανειλημμένως (2,5 χρόνια), γεγονός που οδήγησε τον βουλευτή Αργολίδας Ι. Ανδριανό να καταθέσει σχετική ερώτηση στον υπουργό Δικαιοσύνης, Διαφάνειας και Ανθρώπινων Δικαιωμάτων, Αντ. Ρουπακιώτη, ο οποίος αναγνώρισε το πρόβλημα των καθυστερήσεων.
«Παραμένει επιτακτική η ανάγκη αντιμετώπισης των καθυστερήσεων στην εκδίκαση των υποθέσεων σεξουαλικής κακοποίησης ανηλίκων» σημειώνεται στην ανακοίνωση του Χαμόγελου, στην αγκαλιά του οποίου κατέληξε πλέον το ανήλικο κορίτσι μαζί με τις αδερφές του.
